English Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. butter (not margarine)
1 tsp. vanilla
4 - 6 Hershey chocolate bars (full size)
1 c. chopped nuts (favorite)
Preparation

Boil sugar and butter to 310\u00b0 or hard crack stage in water. Cool slightly then add vanilla.
Pour on aluminum foil immediately and put chocolate bars on top to melt.
Sprinkle with nuts, smooth over top.
When cold, crack into piece.
