Cherry Peach Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 lb. can peach halves, drained
    1 beaten egg
    1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
Preparation
    Mix water, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves with cherry pie filling in a 10-inch skillet. Add peaches. Bring to a boil. Add milk to egg to make 1/2 cup. Stir into biscuit mix to form soft dough. Drop dough by tablespoon on top of boiling fruit. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Serve warm. Spoon fruit over dumplings and top with whipped cream topping.
