Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (16 oz.) peaches, drained
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Put nutmeg on bottom of pan, then peaches.
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add shortening, egg and milk and mix well.
    Spread over fruit and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold.
