Gooey Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix with pudding
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 egg
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 stick butter, softened
    1 egg
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together and pat into the bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread nuts over this.
    Combine powdered sugar, butter, egg and cream cheese; beat well.
    Spread over mixture in pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
