Ginger Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lemons
    1 (3-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1 qt. water
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Juice lemons, then strain into a pitcher.
    Put ginger pieces and 2 cups of the water into a blender; process about 1 minute until the ginger is finely grated.
    Strain into the pitcher, using a spoon to press out as much liquid as possible.
    Add the remaining water and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
