Cheese Topped Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 green peppers, tops removed and seeded
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, divided
6 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation

In a large pot of boiling water, parboil peppers for 5 minutes.
Drain.
In a skillet, cook beef and onions until browned.
Drain.
Add rice, salt and 1 cup of tomato sauce.
Heat thoroughly.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Stuff peppers with beef mixture. Place in ungreased baking dish.
Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
Cover with foil.
Bake 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese; serve.
