Teacakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix ingredients well.
    Roll into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
