Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, sliced and cooked until tender
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 can tomato soup
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt to taste
    1 onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
Preparation
    Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, soup, mustard, pepper, Worcestershire and salt; boil until thick, about 5 minutes.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Arrange carrots in layers with onions and peppers, pour boiling marinade over carrots.
    Place in fridge at least 24 hours. Serve hot or cold.
