Chicken Metrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked, diced chicken
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. spaghetti or fettucine noodles, broken into bite size pieces, cooked and drained well
    6 Tbsp. butter, melted
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. basil
    1 1/2 c. light cream or 1 tall can Pet milk
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 to 2 cans mushrooms (I use 2)
Preparation
    Make a white sauce with butter, flour, cream and broth.
    Cook on medium heat until thickened. Add chicken, mushrooms and spaghetti.
    Spoon into a large greased casserole.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Freezes well.
