Cornmeal Gravy(Over 50 Years Old) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 to 1/2 c. grease from bacon, fatback or lard
    1 c. cornmeal
    3 glasses water or milk or 1/2 each
Preparation
    Have some grease or lard in a pan on the stove.
    Get it real hot and add the cornmeal.
    Stir it until the meal is brown.
    Stir in water or milk and stir constantly until it's as thick as you like it.
    That should serve about 4 people.
