Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
    whip cream
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as directed on package.
    Pour half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt together the caramels, evaporated milk and butter.
    Take cake out of oven, pour caramel mixture over cake, then sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
    Pour the last half of cake batter on top and bake another 20 minutes or until done.
    Serve with whip cream.
