Sausage And Pepper Braid - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casing removed
    3/4 c. chopped red pepper
    1 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 c. softened margarine
    2 eggs, room temperature
    4 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Brown sausage and cook pepper until done, stirring to break up meat.
    Drain and cool.
    Measure warm water into a large warm bowl. Stir in yeast until dissolved.
    Add sugar, salt, seasoning, margarine, 1 egg and 2 cups flour; beat until smooth.
    Stir in enough more flour to make a soft dough.
    Knead 8 to 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl; turn to grease top.
