Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
3 c. All-Bran
1/2 c. melted shortening (oleo or Crisco okay)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour, unsifted
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
nuts (optional)
dates (optional)
raisins (optional)
Preparation
-
Let All-Bran and boiling water set for 5 minutes.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
You can keep batter in refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks and bake as needed.
