Pineapple Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
    1 (No. 303) can sliced beets
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and beets, saving juices.
    Mix cornstarch with a little pineapple juice.
    Add this to 1/2 cup pineapple juice and all of beet juice.
    Heat, stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer until heated through.
