Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 banana, mashed
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Cool, then chill until syrupy.
    Add thawed strawberries, pineapple and banana.
    Spoon half of the mixture into an 8 x 8-inch dish.
    Spread with sour cream and top with the rest of the gelatin mixture.
    Chill until set.
    Makes 12 servings.
