Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift
    flour,
    sugar,
    salt
    and
    soda together.
    Cut in shortening; add yeast and buttermilk.
    Combine and knead well. Let chill 1 hour.
    Roll out dough on lightly floured surface. Cut out biscuits and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Dough may be covered and refrigerated for a week.
