Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
3 c. grated raw carrots
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine oil and sugar.
Sift remaining dry ingredients.
Sift 1/2 dry ingredients into sugar/oil mixture.
Alternate remaining dry ingredients with eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add carrots and nuts; mix well.
Pour into lightly oiled 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Let cake cool slightly before removing from pan. When cool, frost with cream cheese or Caramel Frosting.
