Ragout Of Rabbit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large rabbit, cut into serving pieces
    6 small white onions
    2 bay leaves
    1 1/2 c. diced celery
    3 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 qt. boiling water
    2 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. diced carrots
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    dash of Tabasco
Preparation
    Place rabbit in kettle with onions, bay leaves, celery, salt, pepper and water.
    Simmer, covered, 2 hours or until rabbit is nearly tender.
    Add potatoes, carrots and mushrooms (sliced). Simmer, covered, 30 minutes or until all is tender.
    Blend flour with water.
    Stir into stew.
    Cook until thickened.
    Add parsley and Tabasco.
    Serves 6.
