Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly the first 7 ingredients.
    Mix together the 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll the first mixture into small balls, like walnuts.
    Roll into mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until brown, but still soft, at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
