Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    1 tsp. basil
    1 c. beef broth
    1 c. bean with bacon soup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
    1/2 c. macaroni
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cabbage (optional), chopped
    1 c. zucchini (optional), chopped
Preparation
    Saute bacon and add onion, celery, garlic and basil.
    Stir in soup.
    Bring to boil; heat 15 minutes.
    Add cabbage and zucchini. Cook 10 minutes.
    Makes 8 cups.
