Pecan Dump - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can peaches
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Pour peaches and juice in casserole dish.
    Spread dry cake mix over peaches.
    Cut butter in thin slices on cake mix.
    Sprinkle pecans on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold with Cool Whip.
