Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp.salt
2 c. butterscotch chips
Preparation

Cream butter thoroughly, then add sugar and beat well.
Put egg yolk and vanilla in and beat well.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
These melt in your mouth if eaten while still slightly warm.
