Katy'S Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, chunked
    1 c. celery, cubed
    6 carrots, sliced
    1 large (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
    3 sliced onions
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. barley
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 or 4 potatoes
Preparation
    Marinate beef in sherry wine and French dressing (if desired). Mix sugar, salt and barley with tomatoes.
    Combine rest of ingredients. Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 5 hours.
