Colcannon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes, peeled
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 scallions
    1 1/2 c. boiled green cabbage or curly kale
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    pepper and salt
Preparation
    Boil the potatoes and mash.
    Add milk and scallions (should be scalded to keep tops green) and beat until fluffy.
    Toss the cooked cabbage (finely chopped) gently in the melted butter.
    Add to the potatoes, together with parsley.
    Fold well.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
