Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 lb. brown sugar (dark)
    2 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt sugar and butter in an iron skillet.
    Cool.
    Add well beaten eggs to sugar mixture, then beat in flour and baking powder.
    Add salt, vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into a greased shallow pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Cool and cut into squares.
