Gwen'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. tomato pulp and juice
3 stalks celery, sliced thin
2 medium onions, chopped
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
8 whole cloves
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 jalapeno pepper
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation

Cook the vegetables until celery is soft.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat to simmer; cook until it thickens, stirring frequently.
Seal in scalded jars.
(I usually double this recipe!)
