Country-Style Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. light cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. sweetened crushed ripe peaches, strawberries or bananas
    light cream
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar, light cream, salt and vanilla.
    Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour ice cream mixture into 1 gallon canister of ice cream freezer.
    Add peaches, strawberries or several mashed ripe bananas.
    Add enough additional light cream to fill the canister 3/4 full or about 2 cups.
    Freeze in freezer until firm.
