Quick "Pigs In The Blanket" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can tomato soup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Chop cabbage into medium-size pieces and spread in bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish (prefer glass; tomato and metal gets bitter taste).
    Brown meat and onion, breaking up meat as it cooks.
    Stir in rice, salt and pepper.
    Spoon mixture over cabbage.
