Porcupine Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box beef Rice-A-Roni
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    3 c. hot water
    margarine
Preparation
    Crumble ground beef in bowl.
    Add salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste.
    Add chopped onion.
    Toss all with fingers.
    Add rice only from Rice-A-Roni.
    Toss again.
    Form into quarter-size balls. Brown these in skillet in margarine all at the same time, turning once (about 5 minutes on each side).
    Drain off grease.
    Sprinkle seasoning mix from Rice-A-Roni over meat balls.
    Add 3 cups hot water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover, cut down to low and cook for 30 minutes.
