Crunch-Top Baked Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 apples (3-inch in diameter)
1 c. granola cereal
1/4 c. butter or oleo (room temperature)
3 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. apple juice
whipped cream or half and half
Preparation

Rinse apples and core.
Mix cereal, butter and sugar.
Press 1/6 of mixture in each apple.
Set apples slightly apart in shallow baking dish, 9 x 13-inch or 10 x 14-inch oval.
Add apple juice to pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
Offer cream to pour over apples, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
