Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small chicken, cut into serving pieces
    1 c. white wine
    1 stalk celery, finely chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. brown rice
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in
    a heavy kettle.
    Cover; bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
