Ingredients

1 c. water
1/2 c. rice
1 qt. milk
1/2 stick oleo (butter preferred)
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Bring water to boil; add rice.
Cook 7 minutes.
Add milk, and oleo.
Bring to boil, watch closely. Cook slowly on top of stove for 1 hour.
Beat eggs and sugar; add to rice mixture.
Turn off heat; add vanilla
and raisins.
