Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. canned salmon
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced fine
    2 eggs
    1/2 pkg. crushed saltines or 1 c. oatmeal
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard or 1 tsp. dry mustard
    salt
    pepper
    dill (optional)
    oil to fry in
Preparation
    Drain salmon and remove any skin; put in a mixing bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients (except oil).
    Mix well and make into patties, just like hamburgers.
    Heat oil in skillet, then fry patties, turning several times until golden brown.
    These can have cheese melted on top, if desired.
    Serves 4 to 6.
