Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. milk
    1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions.
    Pour 1/2 of batter in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 10 minutes.
    Melt caramels and milk over low heat to make a sauce.
    Pour sauce over cake which has been baked for 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour the rest of the batter over this.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
