Church Chili(Served At Church Bazaar For Many Years.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 c. diced celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    4 c. canned or cooked red kidney beans
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Preheat pan.
    Add oil.
    Lightly brown ground meat.
    Add onions, celery, garlic and green pepper.
    Continue frying and stirring until onions are golden (about 15 minutes).
    Add tomatoes, chili powder, which has been mixed with cold water, salt, sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
    When boiling, cover and simmer about 1 hour.
    Add beans drained of excess liquid.
    Cook, uncovered, until well heated and chili is desired thickness.
