Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    romaine or regular lettuce
    1 bell pepper
    4 celery sticks
    shallots
    1 box frozen corn
    1 box frozen peas
    1 box frozen carrots
    apples
    nuts (optional)
    1 can kidney beans
    shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    bacon bits
    1 pt. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Layer lettuce on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Put pepper, celery, corn, peas, carrots, apples, nuts, shallots and beans layered on top.
    Spread mayo and sugar on top.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits.
    Cover with Saran Wrap and put in refrigerator overnight.
