English Toffee (Heath Bars) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. real butter (2 sticks)
1 c. brown sugar
Hershey bars or chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Mix
together
butter and brown sugar and cook until it boils. Boil slowly for 12 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour into greased
9\tx
12-inch
Pyrex
dish or container.
Put a couple of\tHershey bars on top and spread over entire mixture or chocolate
chips
can be used.
You can also put in chopped nuts before pouring into pan, if desired.
