Homestead Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans mixed vegetables, drained
    5 to 6 celery stalks, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped (optional)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook sugar, flour, dry mustard and vinegar until thick. Cool and pour over vegetables.
