Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 qt. jars
apples
4 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. cornstarch
2 1/2 tsp. salt
10 c. water
3 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Peel and slice apples.
Fill
jars
leaving
1
1/2-inch headspace.
Combine all ingredients and
bring to a boil.
Cook until it starts to thicken.
Add lemon juice; pour over apples. Seal and cook 8 minutes in 10 pound pressure cooker.
