Mother'S Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Add yeast to buttermilk and dry ingredients. Knead enough to hold together. Roll dough to 1/2-inch.
Cut with biscuit cutter and fold in half. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
