Red Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, Crisco and eggs.
    Combine cocoa, vanilla, vinegar, salt and food coloring. Add to creamed mixture.
    Add buttermilk, cake flour and soda.
    Mix well. Bake in two 9-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool, then split layer with thread to make 4 layers.
