Orange Candy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    5 eggs
    1 8 oz. pkg. dates (cut up)
    1 lb. orange slice candy (cut up)
    1 (4 oz.) can coconut
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped pecans
    4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and beat in eggs one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix dates, candy, nuts and coconut with 1/4 c. of flour. Set aside.
    Add remaining dry ingredients with buttermilk to butter mixture and mix well.
    Stir in candy mixture.
    Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
