Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Mix flour and salt together.
    Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender or fork until pieces are the size of small peas. Sprinkle water over mixture and blend until all is moistened. Roll into a ball and let stand several minutes.
    Roll pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate.
    Poke holes in pastry with fork.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until slightly brown.
