Mint Roasted Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions
    2 1/2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    3/4 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dried mint, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Line bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan with foil.
    Cut onions in half crosswise.
    Remove skins. Place, cut side down, in pan.
    Whisk remaining ingredients in small bowl until blended. Drizzle over onions. Swirl onions so they are coated.
    Bake, uncovered, 1 hour or until tender and golden brown. Baste onions with pan drippings 3 times during baking.
    Makes 4 servings.
