Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. orange jello
    2 c. liquid (pineapple and mandarin juice and water)
    12 to 15 large marshmallows, cut
    2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 can mandarin oranges, drained
    1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat juices and water to boiling.
    Pour over jello; stir.
    Add cheese and marshmallows to hot mixture.
    Cool.
    Add pineapple and orange sections.
    Place in refrigerator.
    When it becomes thick, fold in whipped cream.
    Refrigerate until set.
