Copper Pennies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lbs. sliced carrots
1 medium green pepper, thinly sliced in rings
1 thinly sliced onion
1 can tomato sauce
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup vinegar
Preparation

Cook carrots in water until tender and drain.
Layer carrots, peppers and onion in a shallow dish.
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables.
Cover tightly and marinate for 12 hours.
Drain partially to serve.
