Perfect Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    3 c. milk (scalded)
Preparation
    Put eggs and vanilla
    in bowl.\tBeat in sugar and salt. Stir in milk.
    Pour
    mix into 8 (5 ounce) custard cups.\tPlace cups in shallow baking dish.
    Pour boiling water in dish about an inch deep.
    Bake
    at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Put coconut into mixture if so desired.
