Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. oleo
    2 eggs
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 onion
    3 whole jalapeno peppers (optional)
    1 lb. ground beef
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion.
    Drain and pat with paper towels to remove excess oil.
    Mix all remaining ingredients except cheese. Pour 1/2 of cornbread into greased skillet.
    Top with meat and then cheese.
    Add remaining cornbread.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
