Mary Kaye'S Pan Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. chopped apples
Preparation
    Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer.
    Gradually add sugar; beat well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Combine flour and nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla to cream mixture.
    Stir in apples and nuts.
    Spoon batter into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
