Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 green sweet pepper
    1 red sweet pepper
    2 onions
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, peppers and onions.
    Mix.
    Add sugar.
    Mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Pour boiled mixture over cabbage mixture.
    Seal in airtight container.
    Do not stir or uncover for 4 hours.
